Thunder hammers still suck ass and their design is not healthy for the game. The biggest victim of hyper specialization with plasma, their ability to stun you for an hour to maybe remove a big target in one hit (if it registers) and blast monsters comes at the cost of function and fun in dealing with the horde. I would love to see their performance equalized so they no longer instagib bosses but actually perform in melee in a way that isn't pathetic. If they're gonna keep that horrid 3 target damage cap, at least make me kill 3. The nerf to the stun removal tech is harsh, and that .6 seconds of being unable to do anything has got to go. It already has a huge windup, both because of Thrust and because of its activation animation. Ghost hits have never been this painful. The Ironhelm is so close to having an actual fun moveset, but unfortunately has no way to quickly go into Heavy 3. It also has a pushattack serving the same purpose as its first light, so I'd love to replace that with another single target poke/uppercut/downward strike, and have that be able to chain into both Light 2 and Heavy 3. The ability to hit through things with the special and not stop on one groaner is nice, but it's ridiculous they gave it to a new Hammer instead of just fixing it on the old one as well. A Thunder Hammer should have some AOE, at least stun and suppression.
