Maker of Man, one of my most recently written songs! I might edit some of this in the future but right now, here's the song. I hope it strikes a chord with you :) Lyrics - V1) There is only one who knows the wind that blows not Geography but the face of each force Prech1) I wanna know what makes You tick who hangs the stars in the navy blue fields I wanna breathe the air You breathe I wanna know You Ch) Who You are What You do when I'm sleeping Where You go to learn more of Yourself Who You call when You're bleeding do You feel like I do V2) There is only One who knows the thoughts I hold not Psychology but what each one is called Prech 2) I wanna know why You made me think is it a mechanism You delight in I wanna see the things You do I wanna know You Ch2) I know You You don't think like a human You don't feed Yourself with lies and sin You don't fall when You're bleeding Your blood makes me brand new Br) I'm a psychopath and You like that You're the King of kings I'm an earthly queen You're the Creator I'm the created You're the Light and Life I'm forgiven v3) There is only One who is the great I Am not religion but the Maker of man. .............. God is infinitely greater, higher, better than us His creation. Yet we can only understand Him in terms of things we've been given on earth. I wrote this from my human perspective, (the whole 'What you do when I'm sleeping' and all is only fitting for a human bound by time space and matter), and as the song went my eyes were lifted to Who He really is. Not man, but Maker of man. If we thought this way more, we'd worship Him so much better. I'm so glad to serve a Being I don't fully understand, not 'coz it makes my heart fuzzy, but knowing God isn't ruled by lies and sin is relieving. He is trustworthy. Please share this song if you like this kind of music! God bless.
