Welcome back to the Survival Challenge from $0 to $10 000 000. We wrap up the corn harvest and complete the final deliveries to our ethanol production plant, where the crop is processed into valuable fuel. With harvesting done, we return the combine harvester to the equipment parking area and shift our focus to field preparation for the next crop cycle. To begin, we deploy tractors with mulchers, operated by hired workers, to remove crop residues and improve soil health. Once mulching is complete, the same workers begin fertilizing the fields by applying digestate, ensuring nutrient-rich soil for optimal yields. While the workers are busy in the fields, we take time to boost our farm’s budget by selling goods from our processing facilities. We also begin selling ethanol from our new production line, having recently purchased a liquid transport tank specifically for ethanol logistics. In addition to fuel, we sell corn grits, another profitable byproduct of the corn processing chain. Once the digestate application is finished, we prepare for plowing by assigning three tractors to the job. Despite the large field sizes, the team works efficiently, covering the ground quickly. During this stage, we identify one field that requires lime treatment, so we assign a hired worker with a lime spreader to complete the task. Meanwhile, we equip our other tractors with seed drills and begin sowing soybeans across the freshly prepared and fertilized fields.
