I'm starting a road trip across all 50 states. First stop: the Mojave Desert. My friend Allen and a group of runners are attempting something insane... running 270 miles from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, straight through the desert on I-15. I drove out from San Diego, camped overnight near Baker, and had a resupply station waiting for them at 6am with gels, water, and food. Then I drove to Vegas to meet them at the finish.
