[Music] Dana, I need your help. >> What do you need? >> I feel like Esther's texting game is on another level. >> Why? What do you mean? >> I'm like sitting here all day waiting for her to text me. She like sometimes texts and sometimes she doesn't. It's like she's keeping me hanging on by a thread. I don't know where her next move's going to be. And like she's there sometimes and we like get into like a little back and forth, but then sometimes she takes hours to respond. >> Uhhuh. >> It's like social media, you It's like she's like a slot machine. >> Shots of dopamine and then a giant drought. >> And we're not defined yet. So it's like what are we? We like made out but then she's not polyamorous. We're not technically together. Do women like sex without relationships? Am I like the woman here? >> So she wants sex without the relationship. So I guess you would if you liked sex but didn't want a relationship. So, am I going to get my heart broken? >> Yes. >> But why would she want to use me for sex? >> Because she likes you enough. And you guys got good bed cam. >> You guys got good bed cam. >> I mean, I think we have good everything, chem. >> Well, she doesn't. That's the problem. >> So, what do I just keep diving face first into some sexual cacophony with her until both of us like each other so much we're too afraid to leave? >> Yeah, I think so. And then, you know, worst case scenario, she drops you out of the blue and then you go into one-year depression where you can't trust anyone or anything and all you see is sadness. >> I think I could play this game. >> Okay, we've got to take her. >> Okay, so all you got to do >> is not talk about your feelings. >> What if I sort of talk about them? Now, sort of is a tricky word because you're basically saying, "How about I let a little water out of the dam, but if you open a dam, it all comes out." >> So, we're both holding on as long as we can to see who cracks the damn. >> It's a stalemate, and she is made of steel. [Music] How are we about to kiss for so long? >> I don't know. I've never kissed this long in my life. >> Are you serious? I thought you were like this with like all guys. >> No, this is definitely not normal. >> We must have something. Oh, I mean I I was totally kidding. I wasn't trying to be mushy. That was just my ling talking. >> My therapist doesn't like polyamory. >> What do you mean he doesn't like polyamory or he doesn't think it's right for you? >> Um, both. >> Both? Like he literally thinks it's impossible? He just says it's hard enough for me to have one relationship. >> But how could he give an unbiased opinion at all if he is against polyamory? >> It's not like it's about having like one relationship and then like building on that. You learn from relationships. You don't have to be perfect before you enter one. >> It's easier for you to say because you already have Dana. >> Yeah, but I'm not perfect. Me and Dana aren't perfect. When you allow more relationships, you learn from them. Why stop something that's naturally occurring? What if we learn from this? >> Because of the future. >> What about the future though? >> Like, what if I want kids one day? How does that work? >> Lots of polyamorous people have kids. There's a book about it. >> Okay, but like what if I want kids? Like, how will Dana feel about that? >> I told you she's down to be like a cool aunt. She like doesn't want biological kids. She would just she would adopt if anything. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> So, like what happens if Dana meets someone who she really falls in love with and then she wants to live with him? >> We talked about that, too. I I would be happy for her if she found someone that she's like happier living with. Same with you and me. Like if we wanted to live together, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. >> Really? >> Really? I'm a vampire before anything else, and it's not easy to be immortal. Until recently, the way I felt with everyone I know dying was to internalize a sense of a nihilism. In a way, I wasn't living at all. I've been staying in the basement room of a renter named Betsy. She signed me up to Better Help, the sponsor of today's video. I knew there was a reason I didn't eat her. I went through a few therapists at Better Help, if you know what I mean. Because they let you switch at no cost and found the right one to understand me. Every happy exchange will keep me living in the moment. I want to share with you 10% off the first month of therapy so that you too can live in the moment. [Music] Click the link below for betterhelp.com/dwd which stands for Dana and the wolf. And now back to your show. Oh, hello. Sorry to interrupt. >> I thought you were going to your uh yoga group. >> Yeah. No, no, I was. Everyone cancelled. Didn't want to go alone. Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I can get out of here. >> I mean, where are you going to go? >> Uh cafe, you know, send some emails. >> What? There's no cafes open. What are you? What emails are you going to send? >> Daniel, trying to help you. >> Yeah, I know, but I'm not going to make you leave. >> Well, I feel like I interrupt you with a different girl every time I come home, so I can take the hint. >> Uh, a a different girl. >> She walked in on me and Dana the other day. >> Yeah, they're about to >> Oh, god. >> Actually, um, you know what? I'm going to go. Uh, I still didn't finish that uh audition. >> Are you sure? Do you want me to help you read again? Like I can >> No, it's it's okay. My roommate's going to help me. >> Oh god, I'm so sorry. I I didn't mean to like break this up. You guys go ahead. Do your thing. I'm going to get out of here. >> No, no, you're you're fine. It was so good running into you. >> Oh yeah, girl. You too. >> Bye. >> Bye. >> I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. >> That's fine. [Music] How was it? >> You know, it was sex. >> Oh, boy. >> Well, you waited three dates, right? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I communicated. I wanted to wait. He waited. Maybe we can communicate about better sex. >> I mean, we weren't perfect in the beginning, right? >> Yeah. Yeah, that's true. And you know, we got a little better. >> Yeah. I mean, I was always good at the eating of the pie. >> No, you weren't. You were good at uh voice of the buttons. >> Yeah. I mean, yeah, I guess we had to communicate a little bit. >> Just don't want to do it again. >> Well, what do you expect? Some like Prince Charming to just like know everything about you immediately? >> No, I guess I just wish it was a little further along. >> Oh god. >> I just feel like we're on totally different pages. >> Did you tell him? >> No. He seemed completely at ease with himself. He didn't even ask me if I, you know. >> Did you like act like you did? >> No, I stopped him basically. >> Well, you know, women are hard to read sometimes. Even when I'm successful in my endeavors, I sometimes have to ask. >> Yeah, I know. I'm always like, are you kidding me? Like, it's not obvious. >> Hey, man. It's all a blur. So, um, you know, the things we did the other night, uh, well, the stuff you did >> to me. >> Yeah, of course. >> Um, yeah. Justin Timberlake once said, "Sipping from the cup till it runth over." Holy grail. Yeah. and and and the cup for me, it never runth over. >> Well, you just got to get comfortable with me as all. >> Yeah. And also, I think I just like it like a little differently. >> Oh, okay. You can tell me. >> Oh, yeah. Okay. Um, so yeah, maybe like a little bit more rhythmic uh like onbeat sort of like less haphazardly. >> Okay, sure. I understand. >> And we don't have to talk about it. >> I'm gonna get some more wine. Oh yeah, that's Yeah, you know, if you'd work out like three to five times a week, you'd have a nice Puerto Rican ass. >> Oh. Oh. Um, three three to five times a week. >> Yeah. I mean, if you were consistent. >> I mean, I'm pretty busy. Like, it's it wouldn't be easy for me to be consistent. Like, what would happen if I stopped? >> Well, I guess it'd just go back to normal. >> Oh. Um, okay. So, you're saying um I need to work out three to five times a week >> for the rest of my life and then if I don't I would go back to normal. >> You know, I think I'm ready for round two if you are. >> Oh, I'm really tired. I should probably go. >> You don't want to cuddle? >> I do, but I would get so sleepy. I should go. >> Suit yourself. Guess I'm just going to eat a gummy and pass out. >> Yeah, you should. I'm really jealous that, you know, guys can just go to sleep after women have to go to the bathroom, prevent themselves from getting a UTI. So, >> yeah, that sucks. >> Yeah, it does. Well, um I will see you later. Um I had a really lovely love lovely night. >> Good night. >> Yeah. Yeah.
