It’s a celebration of a massive milestone for the Nanton Lancaster Society: a story that began with just three men and a dream to rescue a 'languishing' Lancaster bomber left in a field. From an empty lot to a 37,000-square-foot world-class museum – this is the story of volunteer dedication, incredible survival tales like Sergeant Nicholas Alkemade’s 18,000-foot fall, and our ongoing mission to preserve history for future generations. We also take a closer look at the operational tail turret and our "Home for the Heavies" expansion, where the Halifax and Lancaster will finally stand side by side.
