With the release of Stranger Things and IT: Welcome to Derry, the end of 2025 has been a great time to be alive as a horror fan and to be very honest, the IT prequel show might have given us what is probably the best first season finale of a show. You cannot tell me any of us had predicted the big reveal about Pennywise that Andy Muschietti had saved for the end. Be it the Marge and Richie Tozier connection, IT’s non linear time viewing or the cosmic clown’s omnipresence. I don’t know about you but my mind was absolutely blown! Having said that, the biggest question throughout the debut season has been why the Muschiettis are choosing for the show to travel back in time for each season installment? While I have a rather legit theory to answer that question, we will also talk about which timeline IT is going to attack next!
