Anatomy and Physiology - Bit by Bit
Anatomy & Physiology - Bit by Bit is the #1 A&P podcast on the internet, as rated by FeedSpot and Millionpodcasts. Dr. Steve Sullivan is a tenured Professor of Anatomy & Physiology at Bucks County Community College, where he’s taught since 2002. He’s also the author of Anatomy & Physiology Digital Suite from McGraw-Hill Education. This show is not only intended for college students taking A&P, but also for anyone who is interested in how the human body is structured and how it functions. Where students are concerned, the goal is "B or better." Whether you're interested in nursing, physical therapy, physician assistant, radiography, dental hygiene, etc., a B or better is the goal to be competitive with other students in your field. Hopefully, these short, pointed discussions will help you understand what you need to be successful. Check out the show’s Instagram and YouTube channels as well. Feel free to email content questions to minus55media@gmail.com, and Dr. Steve will answer them on the show.

Episode 51 begins the Respiratory System by discussing its anatomy as well as lung volumes and capacities. It also includes my conversation with David DiVenti, instructor of Medical Assisting and Supervisor of Allied Health and Workforce Development at Camden County College (https://www.camdencc.edu/) in Camden County, New Jersey. David talks about being a Medical Assistant, what it takes to become one, and how rewarding a career it has been for him. It’s an incredibly informative conversation about a great career option for anyone interested anatomy & physiology. You can check out David’s instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/rma_clinical_lab/) to learn more about Medical Assisting. David mentioned a book that inspired him called Atomic Habits by James Clear. Learn more about Atomic Habits here. (https://jamesclear.com/atomic-habits)
