Anatomy & Physiology - Bit by Bit is the #1 A&P podcast on the internet, as rated by FeedSpot and Millionpodcasts. Dr. Steve Sullivan is a tenured Professor of Anatomy & Physiology at Bucks County Community College, where he’s taught since 2002. He’s also the author of Anatomy & Physiology Digital Suite from McGraw-Hill Education. This show is not only intended for college students taking A&P, but also for anyone who is interested in how the human body is structured and how it functions. Where students are concerned, the goal is "B or better." Whether you're interested in nursing, physical therapy, physician assistant, radiography, dental hygiene, etc., a B or better is the goal to be competitive with other students in your field. Hopefully, these short, pointed discussions will help you understand what you need to be successful. Check out the show’s Instagram and YouTube channels as well. Feel free to email content questions to minus55media@gmail.com, and Dr. Steve will answer them on the show.

This episode covers the concepts of respiration, including gas exchange, the laws that govern it, partial pressure, carbon dioxide transport, and oxyhemoglobin dissociation. I also have a conversation with Christina Byrne (https://www.instagram.com/stories/cbrdh66/) of ACT Dental (https://www.actdental.com/) who talks about being a dental hygienist, what it takes to become one, and all the career options associated with it. Tell your professors about A&P Digital Suite (https://www.mheducation.com/highered/product/connect-online-access-anatomy-physiology-digital-suite-virtual-labs-apr-practice-atlas-phils-sullivan/9781264284597.html) where they can assign up to 165 of my tutor videos as well as industry-leading A&P lab simulations. Check out my Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/studenthelp4ap/) account and Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/@StudentHelp4AP) channel with more A&P content to help you understand the human body and maybe even get your B or better in A&P.
