Back in 2023, I happened to be in Mazatlán, Mexico when El Chapo’s son was arrested. His arrest led to fiery roadblocks, unrest, and even an incident at the airport. So, this isn’t exactly new territory for me. This trip to the UAE was planned well before any of the current tensions, and I’m approaching it the same way I always do; be prepared, and hope for the best while planning for the worst.
