Alright… I feel like it’s only fair I say this out loud. VanLife is incredible. But also… sometimes it’s a bit of a nightmare. After nearly 2 years of living full-time in my van (and surviving two very questionable UK winters), I thought it was about time I shared the bits that don’t always make it onto Instagram. Because yes - there are sunsets, sea views, and cute coffee moments… …but there’s also: • carrying your own wee across a car park • constantly running out of water / power / gas • wondering if you’re about to get moved on at 10pm • and fixing things you absolutely did not plan on fixing So here are my 7 honest reasons why vanlife sucks… sometimes. Not to put you off - just to give you the full picture. Because every lifestyle has its ups and downs… Vanlife just happens to include a bit more… admin.
