This is the last video on the Organic Japanese with Cure Dolly channel. In May 2021, Cure Dolly took a break from making videos, as explained here, but continued to produce lessons on her open Patreon page and to answer questions and comments there and here on YouTube up to the end of September. Then her condition took a turn for the worse and she passed away. This is a great loss to us all. No one can replace her in answering questions here, but if you have questions you may well find the answers in the body of her work and in her responses to other people. Subscribers and followers of this site know Cure Dolly as the analytic android who taught a groundbreaking approach to Japanese structure and immersion. Of course, there was more to her than that - how could there not be? - but that was how she chose to present her teaching, and we will respect that in maintaining and publishing her work under that name and persona. There is no great mystery here. This is not a disguise for someone in the public eye, either in academia or the wider world. Cure Dolly was an idiosyncratic private individual with a keen mind and a deep love of Japanese. As she would always say, if you find her work useful, make use of it, otherwise seek out another approach. For the moment the Cure Dolly Patreon page remains open.
