*EDIT:* This series has been cancelled in favor of my most recent NFS PS video where I drift and rank every “odd car” at once. Watch it here: https://youtu.be/j0H9p28kqf4?si=N3zALAxor_rfKkSk Welcome to the first episode of Drifting "Odd" Cars, where I drift the questionable car choices in my most viewed video so you don't have to. For this series I will test each car on 4 tracks - 2 technical tracks and 2 high speed tracks. The first car I'll be testing out is the 911 GT3 (non RS), a car that I'll admit exceeded my expectations for drifting. Honestly, I didn't expect this car to even slide at all. Even still, I don't recommend this car in drift. It will slide well enough, but don't expect to go above the 5000-6000 point range. Even though it has strong acceleration at low to medium speeds, you just won't get a good enough angle to get the big points as it's just way too grippy. When you go to countersteer, it feels like fighting with the steering trying to hold the drift angle while the car wants to straighten itself out. Admittedly, I was disappointed on how the GT3 performed on the high speed tracks as I thought I could somehow at least manage at least 5000+ on the Autobahn and MAYBE 7000 on Willow Springs, due to the car's fantastic acceleration and speed, but alas it's just way too difficult to pitch it sideways. I will say though I am impressed by the score I got on the Ebisu track - not bad for a rear engine, rear wheel drive car built to stick to the track. If you decide to try this car yourself (please don't), make sure to tune the car and reduce the tires to stock and suspension to Stage 2. Setup: Suspension: 0 0 0 0 0 0 -10 -10 -10 -10 -10 +4 +10 +10 +10 Engine: All +10 Drivetrain and brakes are your choice, I didn't do anything with them.
