Currently Playing: This part of Captain Kirk’s childhood is DARK. #startrek #shorts #shortsfeed

This part of James T. Kirk’s history is surprisingly dark. Long before he commanded the Enterprise, Kirk was one of only nine eyewitnesses to survive the massacre carried out by Kodos the Executioner on Tarsus IV. It’s a major piece of Kirk’s backstory that rarely comes up when people talk about the confident, swaggering captain he eventually became. Did you remember this part of Kirk’s history?
