Peech climbs onto the tightrope... Iris sets it on fire... But underneath Peech, someone is waiting. CLEAVER. And with Aidan joining the performance, we may have one of the most interesting defensive Chaos interactions around Peech. Harlequin's Punishment reduces Armor, and at Legendary Relic Level 10 it expands from one enemy to two. The Final Act targets Physical Attack, immobilizes its target and steals Physical Attack — and at Legendary Relic Level 20, it also expands to two enemies. Normally? That's fantastic. But against Iris, those debuffs can become dangerous. Her Inner Fire mechanic burns enemies whenever debuffs are applied, creating Inner Fire charges that deal Damage over Time while those debuffs remain active. Peech wants to spread disruption across the battlefield. Iris can punish exactly that. 🎪 Peech is walking the tightrope... and Iris is setting it on fire. 🛡️ CLEAVER — THE SAFETY NET This is where Cleaver enters the circus. At Legendary Relic Level 20, his Heavyweight mechanic creates an incredible defensive interaction. Whenever Cleaver or his allies take damage from their own or allied skills, all negative effects are removed from the damaged Hero. And the effect remains active while Cleaver is alive. That's extremely important. Instead of trying to directly stop Inner Fire's Damage over Time... Cleaver attacks the condition allowing it to continue. Remove the negative effect. Remove the fuel. 🔥 PUT OUT THE FIRE. But Heavyweight has a condition. We need allied or self-inflicted damage. And that's where another Chaos Hero enters our performance. ❤️ AIDAN COMPLETES THE ACT Aidan brings exactly the kind of interaction we want. His sacrifice mechanics can help create the allied-damage condition needed to activate Heavyweight, while his healing provides additional sustain for the composition. Now the pieces begin connecting: Peech → disruption and debuffs Aidan → sacrifice + healing Cleaver → negative-effect cleansing That's synergy. Not three powerful Heroes randomly placed together. Three mechanics supporting each other. 🔥 THIS IS BIGGER THAN IRIS Iris gives us the perfect example because Inner Fire exposes Peech's weakness beautifully. But Cleaver's value isn't restricted to Iris. Heavyweight removes all negative effects from the damaged Hero when its activation condition is met. That means this core potentially gives Peech and her allies protection against a much wider range of enemy negative effects.
