Currently Playing: The Cisco Cache Engine: Enterprise Caching in the Early 2000s

Getting a Cisco Cache Engine 505 up and running over a T1 connection. We'll fight a Compaq Presario, my 3D printer, and some T1 port adapters in my Cisco 7206 VXR Router along the way. This CE-505 caches content inside an enterprise LAN to reduce the load on limited-bandwidth connections, such as T1. We'll get it racked up, put it to the test, and see what kind of difference it would've made back in the day.
