He waited eighteen years for a rock to wake up. Eighteen years ago he died on Earth and opened his eyes in a world where anyone — every farmer, every schoolkid, every grandma with a bad hip — can become a lord of the Myriad Races Battlefield. All you need is a Lord's Heart. All a Lord's Heart needs is money. All he had was a seven-colored stone lodged in his brain that came with him through the crossing and then did absolutely nothing. For eighteen years. So he did it the hard way. Aced every exam. Memorized every textbook. Took out a student loan the size of a small crime to buy the cheapest F-rank Lord's Heart on the market — talent: Green Waters and Green Mountains, which makes your territory ten percent prettier. Not stronger. Prettier. And then, the second his boots hit his new territory, the rock woke up. It floated out of his forehead, spun once, and showed him its résumé. Creation God Stone. Function: enhance any item into a better version of itself, for a price. And right now — three free upgrades. He opened his backpack with shaking hands. One common hero token. One common soldier talisman. Instant noodles. That was the whole legacy. He tapped the plus sign, and the menu unrolled like a wine list at a restaurant he had no business being in. Fine. Rare. Epic. And at the bottom, glowing like a sin: Legendary hero token — ten million spirit stones, or one free upgrade. Even royal heirs don't start with Legendary. He had three hundred spirit stones and a loan officer who knew his address. "Free upgrade. Legendary." The whole territory turned gold. His ten farmers hit the dirt screaming about miracles. And the first coherent thought he managed, holding a token half the planet would start a war over, was: okay, so the noodles can probably be upgraded too. Spoiler: they can. Everything can. This is going to be a problem for everyone who isn't him. Ten thousand new lords got dropped into that starter town. The rules are brutally simple — kill things, harvest energy, level your troops, and the world's automated god hands ranking rewards to whoever does it fastest. Normal lords need hours to hit level one. He needed ten minutes and a hundred fifty spirit stones. When the announcement named him first, the channel produced three full lines of question marks. Then the rich kid who'd hated his face since tenth grade helpfully explained to everyone that he was a commoner with an F-rank entertainment talent, no family, no money, and no right to exist above anyone on any list. He didn't correct them. People love a theory they invented themselves. What follows: a forge that prints Legendary steel, sword light that ignores the distance between blade and neck, dragons that file resurrection as a business expense, and a published kill-list that makes a hundred enemy elites desert the map every three hours out of pure ambient terror. Eight months ago he was a scholarship kid with a dead rock in his head. Tonight there's an emperor grooming him, a war machine reloading for round three, and a god holding second place like a grudge — all busy planning what to do about him. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ⚔️ Watch to the end — the last line is the whole story. 🔔 Subscribe for daily manhwa & anime recaps. 💬 What's the first thing YOU would upgrade?
