Currently Playing: Homosexuality in Nature

Hey guys, in honor of pride month, in this video I will discuss sexuality in various human societies as well as animal ones and try to tackle the common question I’ve heard “Is homosexuality unnatural?” Hope you enjoy a little biology and anthropology! I know this may be a little uncomfortable or controversial to some viewers, but I feel like this is an important question and one that I want to answer with the facts. I tried to remove my opinions with this video, and I think you should as well. Hope you enjoy and more importantly learn something new! Most images used belong to the Wikimedia Commons. Sorry for the inconsistent microphone throughout this video; I kept on having mic problems and had to re-record this like three separate times due to various issues :/ Hope its not too distracting. Also please check my citations, always check my work :) Citations: Herdt, G. H. (1984). Ritualized homosexuality in Melanesia. Berkeley u.a.: Univ. of California Pr. Scharf I, Martin OY (2013).
