Every generation has its dreamers. Jenny Krogsæter is one of them. In Episode 4, The Next Generation, of our six-part documentary series Stories Beyond the Sport: Road to Aachen 2026, we follow the remarkable journey of young Norwegian show jumper Jenny Krogsæter – from borrowed ponies and long drives to training sessions to competing on some of the biggest stages in international equestrian sport. At just 19, Jenny left Norway for Belgium in the middle of the Covid lockdown, arriving as a working student with one goal: to make it to the highest level of show jumping. What followed was built on hard work, courage, patience and the willingness to grab every opportunity that came her way. But reaching the top is never a straight line. Earlier this year, the dream of representing Norway at the FEI World Championships Aachen 2026 suddenly seemed within reach. When circumstances changed, Jenny faced a difficult decision: push for qualification – or listen to her horse. She chose her horse. Because becoming the next generation of equestrian sport is about more than results. Jenny’s story is only just beginning.
