He eats his sandwich and forgets the paper on the sidewalk. Melek sees the paper. She grabs it to take it to the garbage bin… and she sees her daughter’s photo. She gets too excited and faints. Julide and Tulay talk about Melek’s situation and her misery. They both know that losing a child is someone’s biggest pain. Police is at the mansion. They investigate the fire. Kerem and Tarik are giving their statements. Kerem says he wants them to investigate everything thoroughly. Tarik understands Kerem won’t let this go so easily. The paper (part of the poster) with Elif’s photo flies away when Melek is unconscious. Safak finds Melek on the ground outside Julide’s house. He calls Julide and Tulay. They come to Julide’s house and Melek opens her eyes. When she wakes up, she mumbles words about Elif’s photo. She says she was holding it before she fell. They don’t believe her. Elif is still devastated. She is crying alone in her bed with the only poster that has not burnt in the fire. She rolls the poster and hides it behind her bed. It is the poster Kerem and Sureyya gave her as a present after the shooting. Melek now tells Tulay, Julide and Safak that she was holding Elif’s photo and the paper’s edges were like ash. In Julide’s kitchen, Julide and Tulay try to find sedatives for Melek. They don’t believe in her and more to that, they think Melek’s mental problem reoccur. Melek protests at first but she takes the pills. Yunus and Birce feel terrible like the others. They have real effort on the kid shoe project but it’s like their effort all went down the drain. Tarik wants to see the night guard. He is going to be Tarik’s scapegoat. The buyers start to call Kerem for the kid shoes. Kerem says something unexpected happened and he needs time for the orders. Yunus and Birce show their support to Kerem. They say they will be there for him and for the company forever. Rana also has doubts about the fire. It started right before the poster day and ruined everything.
