In today's video, I'm sharing a special Bitwig Studio preset I built called the 'Compressor Analyzer.' It's a unique tool, made entirely with stock Bitwig devices, that helps you visually understand exactly what your compressors are doing to your signal. I'll walk you through how it works: it generates a specific test signal, splits it into a dry (unprocessed) version and a wet (processed) version, and displays them side-by-side on an oscilloscope. The best part? It also shows you the difference between the two, so you can clearly see the compressor's attack, release, and gain reduction in action. I'll also show you how you can use this tool to "clone" the settings from your favorite VST compressors (even 'black box' ones) onto Bitwig's native devices by visually matching the curves.
