Sadly, time flew by without much progress, so we decided to start from scratch and that eventually led to the Humilau collab we made with Pocket. Nonetheless the original idea of a one-on-one collab still lingered in our minds until recently, when Orly brought it up again, this time with a different bgm and the twist of switching up making audio and visuals. We finally made it happen! We originally planned for simpler visuals, but as huge fans of ~2010s Nintendo we couldn't help but go all out with references and stuff. And I LOVE how it turned out, this might as well be my favorite project i've ever worked on and I couldn't have shared this joy with anyone more special. That first influenza proposal was actually the first time Orly reached out to me. So many things blossomed from that initial interaction: the humilau collab, the madomix's rebirth and our starfall village collab, the whole liquirizia thing... but most importantly, a friendship. I'm really grateful to have met him. I could write lots more but it's almost 5 AM and as you know, Orly, nothing good ever comes out of our brains late at night So... enjoy :)) #ytpmv
