Satisfactory

Hello. Welcome to my channel and now I got to cough. >> [clears throat] >> Good timing. Okay. Sorry. Um So yeah, I was not planning on streaming today cuz I wasn't going to have time, but I thought, you know, I can stream in the morning instead of noon. Um I was having a lot of fun with this yesterday. I wanted to keep going and see how things go with all this randomization. Um and I'm also going to separate my Does it Linux series from Satisfactory. I know I put the Does it Linux live on my thumbnail yesterday. I'm not going to have that anymore. I had a lot of people subscribe to me for Satisfactory a while back and I don't want to lose people thinking that, oh, this is just going to be a Linux thing. So, it's not. This is just going to be a kind of a hangout and nothing to do with Linux. Um obviously, I'll still be doing my Does it Linux videos and occasionally, I might do a Does it Linux live stream to test out games, but when it comes to Satisfactory and maybe some other games we'll just be to hang out, chill. All right. So, I needed to get the portable miners made so we can actually get some miners up on those three iron nodes we had found. We also need to make sure that we get all the power up cuz we're going to need more power and I keep I'm still trying to do my jetpack. It's still a habit. Really bad habit. Yeah, I really hope I don't get burnt out on this game again. Um cuz that is what happened last time. I just I played it too much. I need to expand this a little bit. Cuz I need to get my uh MAM station and stuff back up over here. Um I don't want to move that yet. Okay. Go ahead and get the MAM back up. It was back in here. I'll just put it back where it was. And the equipment workshop. That's what we need for the uh portable miners. So, get that made as well. They're not even. That'll probably bug me. You know what? It is going to bug me. Okay. I'm kind of moving a lot of my iron stuff over there since there's actually three nodes that are next to each other. Kind of next to each other. This randomization kind of makes things a little difficult. But in a good way. Cuz I'm really looking forward to having to set up a lot more transportation to get stuff where it needs to go. You watched my old series, I loved having vehicles and I loved making my factory feel alive. I'll just grab a stack, I think is all we really need. And look at that list over there. Could probably pick up some more iron plates just in case. Cuz we're going to need more than one smelter and one assembler. We also need some constructors as well. I'm just putting kind of what we need, not how many cuz I don't know how many we need. So, I just want to make sure we get enough materials. The miner, we need three. So, that is correct. But we like we can pick up some more cables. Connections, some more wire. We'll just grab another stack of that. I think we're probably good. Reinforced iron plates are being made where? Oh, yeah, over there. We got it on the Got it on the compass. The sense the factory is so spread out now, I'm definitely going to try to put stuff on the compass more on the map signifying what what is being made where. It was a bit easier to keep track of previously cuz it was a lot easier to remember where all the nodes are. And now I'm going to have to unlearn everything I know about Satisfactory and where the nodes are. And I've got over 400 hours in this game. So, it just yeah. I know setting all the nodes to pure might sound like it's cheating, but I think it's just going to help a little bit. Um cuz if you only have like three iron nodes in the grass fields where we start and they're all three of them are impure that's just not going to be good. That that's just not going to be fun, you know? All right. So, let's go ahead and grab these. We are moving this factory as well. Plus, I really like really large factories. I usually don't even overclock. I usually like a lot of machines. But we'll we'll see how it goes now cuz we're definitely going to have a lot of machines. All right. Where were I? I did not put it on the map, did I? I think they were over there. We can go ahead and do a scan really quick. Oh, they are over here. Okay. I don't think they're up there. There should be a little path right there. We'll kind of make the factory I think we decided on making kind of right there in that kind of open area. Kind of have everything converge down there to end up making the smart plates. Yeah, that should be the smart plate factory. Maybe we'll leave that factory as it is currently making the uh reinforced iron plates. Cuz I think the smart plates need reinforced iron plates. All right. So, yeah, those one of the iron right here. The other one was up there, I think. Let me go ahead and get this off of here. I should have brought over some uh power. Thankfully, we're not too far away though. We'll go ahead and add it. So, yeah, we're going to have everything kind of going off that way. Big, huge open area. I'll set up some foundations out there. I think there's another one up here. I had already taken off the top iron bit, so we should be able to build this on it. Yep, right here. Also got some limestone right there, too. Uh Yep, that was fine. And then the other one, we never did go over here and check, but I'm thinking it was up there. Don't have coal power yet, so we're going to keep on picking up some grass and stuff. And chop down some more trees as well. Make sure our power is good cuz this is going to take up a lot of power. I don't know there's a mercer sphere up there. I'm not going to worry about it right now. Where There it is. Okay. Got to figure out what direction to set the miner. You won't be able to build on top of this. I don't know if those are randomized too, those little nodes. Got to clear this out a little bit. I don't know if we'll need any um overclock stuff for this, so. We'll find out. Like I said last stream, um I'm kind of avoiding doing overclocking cuz eventually you can make it so you can actually duplicate the output from the slugs with the alien technology, so. I think we're still going to have more than enough of without having to overclock, so. Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. Clear all this out for that. And we'll go and make sure that other um biomass burners are getting power. I know they were taking a little bit of time to get everything with just with the way I have it set up. I think that's good enough. Probably. Uh do I want that or I kind of want that one maybe facing this way more. Not that it matters. Cuz I can always turn it. All right. And we'll be using the new reinforced iron plate um recipe that we had unlocked yesterday. Which should give us 15 per minute. I thought it was a smart platings that required it, wasn't it? Uh Oh yeah, it does. It needs some Oh, it needs two per minute. We could actually probably make this fairly quickly. All right, it's sharing screws though. Mm. And this is going to need 250 per minute, so. We'll see how many screws we can make. So, we only got the I mean, we can't even haul that many on the conveyor belts anyway. This is a future recipe. We're going to have to do this recipe, unfortunately. But we can do 120 per minute, so we can still possibly get 10 per minute going of the reinforced iron plates. We'll see though. Cuz yeah, I completely forgot about the conveyor belt limitations. We're still at I always forget about that. Okay, what was I going to be here for? Concrete. I keep getting sidetracked. Take it all. And soon we'll set up some more concrete factories as well. We're going to have so much concrete, cuz I think that's all that limestone's used for, ain't it? I don't know if it was used for anything else. I never got to nuclear, so I don't know I don't know what it how much limestone is used elsewhere or what else it can be used for, but we could also get to the wet concrete, cuz I remember that recipe. Cuz we do got water here. I don't know if this is going to be enough water to really do a lot of power. We do have a coal nearby. I can probably do some coal plant over here, maybe. I'm really excited to check out the new pathing system for the vehicles. They kind of look like trains now. You just set the path down the ground and then you tell the truck what stops to go to. It's freaking brilliant. I can actually set up paths without having a truck down. I can kind of get an idea of how the path will be and then just tell the truck, "Hey, go there." And that will be awesome. So much easier to change paths and they actually wait for each other. They won't be running into each other all the time. Just all around pretty fantastic. We can actually destroy this factory and probably end up making something else here. But for now, it's fine. It's just be a kind of a waste of power right now and we're a little limited on power. Once we get reinforced iron plates building here, we can delete that factory. And just have them making here. That'll give us a little bit more power.
