In this episode we return to the haunted torture mansion, recently @DeadCityParanormal & @ParaFear24 went to investigate for themselves but what they captured scared them so much they had to leave to come back another day. They asked us to come along to investigate the cause of the noises.. so we did. But before hand Elliot found Matts lunchbox and had a few funny smelling brownies... Cliffe Park Hall has an extensive history dating back to 1811, from being used as a clubhouse for the local golf club to a youth hostel with George Orwell staying at the mansion for a night while researching for his 1937 book, The Road to Wigan Pier. But it’s decline began back in 2013 when a gang raided the mansion of it’s priceless items. The criminals left the owner, Brian Dalley, penniless who unfortunately died a year later. The criminals tied Brian to a medieval chair, hooded and repeatedly beaten around his head as they ransacked the home. With the whole event lasting over 8 hours, he was able to free himself by smashing a glass on the table with his teeth and cutting the tape from his wrists. He drove to a friends house a mile away and police arrived 20 minutes later. The thieves took many priceless items including a sword which once belonged to Sadam Hussain and a suit of armour worn by Oliver Cromwell. Only some of the eastern European gang members were jailed for aggravated burglary.
