I'll make plays with Sherangovich and Sunia. They've got to find a way to get this all together. And early we've got a big one here. Two big men, Klapka. >> That's right. Klapka and yeah, and Douglas going toe-to-toe. This is Douglas' first fight of the season. Maybe you can believe it. Klapka reuniting with Douglas. They fought before. Douglas 6'9, Klapka 6' 8. At center ice the big man waiting to throw down some blows here. They tangle up. >> [music] >> Douglas a right. KLAPKA A RIGHT. WHOA! HE KNOCKED HIM DOWN. DOWN GOES DOUGLAS. ON a heavy blow from Klapka. Didn't like the way things ended. >> Big showdown between two huge men. Here's how it started. Little conversation neutral zone face-off. We're not [music] 2 minutes into this game and there's always different ways to inject energy into a game, into a building. And this is certainly one way to go about it. Adam Klapka who has been there for his team in many different [music] ways, whether it's scoring some goals, on the body second most hits of the season only behind Paasilinna. >> Pressured by Evans. Frost saves but splits the coverage between Griden and Brek all the way back to Wolf. Six of the nine power play goals the Flames have scored this season have arrived on home ice. Calgary trying to continue that trend. FROST IN SHOT. >> SCORES! >> REALLY clean here on the break. Oh, Brek gets the puck up into the hands of Coronado. Clean entry and it doesn't look like much, but it's just pulling everybody to the wall. That's going to open up the middle of the ice and wisely Frost just skates into this little chip. >> [music] >> And this is right my sightlines. The lefty finds the top corner. He was shooting the entire way. And I like the fact that he waited. >> It's the arm out protecting in front of Wotherspoon. Now has to hustle back though. Cracknell might have numbers moving up the ice. Winterton hauls it to the net and it's stopped by Dustin Wolf. Good backchecking. Calgary doubling back. Lots of up-ice pressure. Now it's turned over. AND DEEKS DENIED BY DUSTIN WOLF. Backhander handled by Middleton. Trying to sneak in there with Stevenson and Montour. Somehow Middleton able to navigate through that traffic. Semiskachev on the outside puts it in front. Stop and rebound and Gaudreau scores. Great first save, but Seattle collects the second chance and it's a tied game. >> Defended well by Calgary. I mean, they're gapping up, they're angling the puck to the wall. And there's four bodies back, but you have to make sure that your detail is right. Net front, it's Gaudreau with his seventh goal of the season. Not a whole lot, right? Oh, three guys wrapped all around Semiskachev. Just a half a step off. Suzie loses his man net front and Gaudreau, who has been on a heater. >> Castagna blocks it out of the air, drives to the forehand. A stop Grubauer. Up a play out of the corner from Castagna. Nemeth shoots. That's off the post. Dope. Settle for the chip out as Bear doubles back. On the done crossing over. Eberle shoots. Block or stopped by Dustin Wolf. Clean stop. With the rebound moving. >> Yeah, the rebound was good. >> Eberle spins it around and a save by Dustin Wolf. Perreault at the point dishes off Strong, finds Perreault. She's not SO ONE-TIMER. BLOCKED DOWN AND THE REBOUND WAS THERE. PUCK IS IN, BUT THEY SAY NO. >> HE SCORED against Toronto with 33 seconds left in the game. I think it's going to go off of Montour's stick. This doesn't happen if Poss and Matvey Grids don't go to the net and pay a price. Look at those two men men buzzing. In, out, battle, looking for something loose. It looked like possible maybe got a poke at it, but it was Montour. >> So, Perreault with ball as Perreault jumps up to the top pair. Sheary Govich Frost trying to knock it out of the air. Frost finds it to Sudia and scores. What a set up and [music] what a finish. Flames up by one. >> A bad pass. This isn't an excellent pass, but that's right into that right skate of Sheary Govich who kicks it from skate to stick. That keeps this play alive. That opens up the offensive zone for this line who called themselves out saying they need to be better. A power play goal for Frost. An excellent pick up from Sheary Govich. And Frost and Sheary Govich win this puck back to Sudia. That's an excellent pass. >> Now, snapped it to Cross and looking for the one knee down was Farabee stealing a move from Frost there. Coronato on to Farabee as Frost to the side door GRUDEN SCORES OFF THE SKATE OF ABBOTT AND MATT BAY Gruden on the power play. >> [music] >> Doesn't get the puck where he wants it. Play continues on. Everything organized and I love this. The mentality for Gruden, get the puck, shoot the puck. And the fade away release, this is absolutely perfect as he glances this one off of the far post and in. Instinctual, pardon me, it was redirected in. >> Cat mouse game with Whitecloud turned over. Now, Seattle numbers two on one. Captain Wright. Captain and shoots. Denied by Dustin Wolf. >> Two on one. Watch Middleton here. He's got to make a decision so that his goaltender can react. Takes pass first and then look at how he closes on the shot. >> Farabee trying to get around Montour for the second time this period and he would have been home free again but could not. Backlund finds a puck, swings to Farabee, shoots, scores! Flames are red hot in the second. >> Positioning and pressure. This is a clearing attempt from Seattle that doesn't have a chance and this is an excellent job from Calgary to forecheck the puck, to be above your options, and to allow a turnover to end up in your hands. That is a fancy pass. That backhand pass was right in the strike zone for Farabee. Look at the counter. All five guys with one mind. You go from defense to offense. >> Studenic locates. Onside, Perreault, great play at the line with a backhand. Perreault, dangling around Winterton, some room, PERREAULT WITH THE BACKHAND, AND DECORD MAKES THE SAVE, stopping that. >> There's been a lot of fancy stuff happening over here as Zane Perreault turns the corner. Backhand, forehand. 4-1, Flames. Not very often do the Flames stop a play and not win the battle on the wall. >> Montour went down hard at the line. Kacco to Seminskivich scores! Seattle breaks through on the power play and it's a two-goal gap on the board. >> And it's Seminskivich. Fades away and finds some quiet ice. That's his sixth goal of the season. He had five on 19 shots. Shooting percentage off the charts. Again, Kacco wins a battle, skating [music] downhill, he draws three Flames to him and he finds Seminskivich under pressure. Give Kacco a ton of credit. >> On their second back-to-back of the season, they'll be in Colorado after the game and play the Avs tomorrow night. Seminskivich that late goal in the second period of six of the season turned it over. CORONADO BREAKING IN, SCORES! >> [music] [music] >> THIS IS THE FOUR point of the game. Look at the work away from the puck. Backtrack as a forward allows your defenseman to stand up and you turn defense into offense and they do it fast. Coronado does an excellent job countering. He reads that the transition of the puck is about to happen and ends up in his hands quickly. Whitecloud advances the puck and look at this shot. I mean that's >> Perfectly capped. And into Douglas off of Perreault. Nearly stolen by Simpkin. Puck centered and Montour jumped at Vladar. Simpkin. Some room and shoots. Stopped by Decord who held his ground. Twisted up as he made that pass but he'll barrel roll and right back to the skates of course. Strom swings in. Grin finds it all alone. Passes over. Scores! Strom! >> [music] >> Calgary Flames with 30 coming into this game. He scored in game number one in the home opener against the Seattle Kraken team and how about that little pump fake. Grin sells shot and he freezes Decord right there. Look at that. I mean a great pass makes the work for Strom easy. A nice job on the strong side to one touch this into the gaping net. >> Calgary Flames will win again on home ice against the Kraken 6-2 over the Kraken. >> Dustin Wolf >> [music] >> 21 of 23. He stopped and he >> [music] >> Oh.
