This module opens up the skill system: the anatomy of a SKILL.md file (front matter + body, why the description is the picker hint that decides whether the skill ever fires), the progressive-disclosure pattern that lets Hermes ship 80+ bundled skills without bloating the context window, a tour through five of the most-useful categories (research / GitHub / MLOps / productivity / creative), the full picture of where skills actually come from — bundled, official-optional, the Hugging Face community index that's surfaced automatically inside `hermes skill browse`, plus Anthropic / OpenAI / Lobe Hub tabs and direct-URL drops — and the auto-written ones the agent generates after complex multi-tool turns, which then live alongside everything else as "procedural memory."
