PS: I just noticed I added the wrong clip, showing me pointing the seasoning sachet instead of the fried onion one 💀 Pardon that editing mistake if you noticed it! Anyway, I have been keeping this secret Indomie cooking method to myself. Now that I have a channel and audience, I figured it's time I shared this wonderful cooking method with my fellow Indomie fans! What makes my "best indomie cooking method" video better than everyone else's? Simply because unlike many other people who use additional ingredients like chili oil, lao gan ma, or heck, extra sauces or whatever, I keep things natural, original, and true to their form and brand. The sauces and seasonings Indomie has provided us are more than enough. We could modify the taste to our liking; there's no problem with that. But at the same time, we shouldn't forget its own iconic flavor and appreciate its own originality. So my method is to simply make use of the seasonings that were provided to us to the fullest. I could only explain so much in a one-minute video, so here's the written version where I explain things in detail: 1. Cook your noodles as per usual, but undercook them. Just one minute should be okay. You can simply boil the noodles as is with less liquid and pour the sauce directly, but it'll be too difficult to avoid overcooking your noodles, and the excessive starch from the noodle water might tamper with the seasonings. Drain and rinse to get the noodles to room temperature. The texture should be pretty firm and al dente. 2. Add your seasoning packets (except the fried onion garnish) to your pan and add some water. Simmer it until it slightly thickens and caramelizes, which should take at least 5 minutes. You can also do it for 10 minutes if you're extreme. If the water dries out or gets too thick before its time, simply add a bit more water and continue to simmer it. 3. Now toss in your cooked noodles and a bit more water if the sauce is too thick and dried out. The goal is to continue cooking the noodles in the sauce until everything dries up and the noodles are completely cooked to your liking. 4. Finally, top it with the fried onion garnish that comes with the packaging, and that's it! If you find this video helpful or, in any way, interesting, be sure to subscribe to support the channel! Noodle experiments will carry on as per usual on the next day! 😁 #differentwaystomakeramennoodles
