Here's a short video explaining what you are seeing. It is important to note that whilst this was a sensitive topic for me in the past, it is no longer so. Interestingly, something I didn't mention in the video is that I have noticed several other YouTubers that I know and admire have similar hands to me. I don't think it's fair to name these people, but it does make me wonder - is it actually the case that 'weird hands' are quite common, but unless you spend a long time looking at them (like in a series of videos where they appear close up) that you just don't notice?
