In this video, I try to discuss the OAuth 2.0 Specification (IETF RFC 6749) as it relates to the real world. First, I introduce and show the OAuth 2.0 Spec document as well as the OpenID Connection extension: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6749 https://openid.net/developers/specs/ Then I show how an app, Draw.io uses a 3rd party app like Google Drive as a storage location to store a document the user created in Draw.io. I try to relate the authentication and authorization process to the actual OAuth 2.0 Specification document (RFC 6749). I show two more examples, one that uses Facebook and another that uses Auth0. In those examples, I briefly show how the Resource owner is redirected to the Authorization by the User Agent which Authenticates the user and requests authorization for access to resources for the Client. I also start to show how Authorization Codes and Access Tokens are used instead of Username and Passwords.
