shoplifting is one of the most common crimes  committed in the modern day and stores have started cracking down hard on it Happ on your back  but what happens when shoplifters get caught and arrested is everyone with him or just him okay okay blue bag still in and  it looks like it has stuff in it oh he's got more than one blue bag okay the  reporting officer on this incident officer Brown received a call about two suspicious men near the  self-checkout area of Walmart one man was seen removing two duffel bags from the packaging while  in the store and then filling each of them with various items a lost prevention worker noticed  this and called for the police okay which one all right how's it going we can go in here and  talk we're going to walk in there stop is after the officer asked the man to step  aside to talk he sat the bags on the ground and then immediately attempted to make a run  for it he didn't have anywhere to go however as both exits were being blocked so it ended  with the officer tackling him to the ground anyway [ __ ] stop now get the [ __ ] ground get on the [ __ ] ground put your [ __ ] your ass behind your backo hurry up  let me talk to you get the walk on the there the man has been tased several times  at this point and it barely seems to be doing anything to him there are a couple of  explanations for this the first is that he's pumped full of adrenaline which has been shown  before to help resist the effects of a taser the second explanation is that he's on some kind  of drug that inhibits muscle response ones 977 on the west side of Walmart hey look look let  me tell you something put your [ __ ] hands behind your back [ __ ] put your [ __ ] hand  behind your back back put your hand behind your back look I want to tell you tell Hey sir can I please talk to you the man continuously says that he wants to talk to  the officer saying that after trying to run away generally isn't a good idea go away just go away  by the was in the fight so me go inside I said my phone's over  there and my notep the reason the officer wants to be sure whether or not the man  was reaching for his gun is because doing so would Elevate his charges to a felony  we were following him we were watching him so [ __ ] Che that one thing and then he  [ __ ] try to take off with all the stuff yeah you need to walk away from me man you need  to go I'm waiting for my girlfriend man you're staying right with me everywhere I go I'm [ __ ]  going this way [ __ ] get my [ __ ] girlfriend for the car keys [ __ ] wrong with you man you want  him front they're handcuffing me too stop ground they're right here just come to grab this car I'm  running outside okay we're running outside cuz they handcuffed me for no reason cuz I want to go  get you oh my god what what is that I'm doing this number and you decided that you did look there she  is man there she is you were told to leave oh my God he said I can go and give her the car keys bro  ask your ask your lost prevention he handed me the car keys he just told me he didn't want you in  the store okay and I came back out right after I pulled you out no you did not pull me out bro  I'm smarter than this come on oh my God my god get your last prevention guy that handed me the keys  and I said I'm getting it to her all right let's get up can I get my phone put the leg in yeah  we get definitely such a thing as trespassing the owner of a store can trespass anyone from their  property for any reason oh my God sir he just got his keys okay hold on we figure it out am I fine  like okay because if it's felony we can hit him with conspiracy to Comm in the  second man who was arrested was shown walking into the store and planning things out with the  original man which means that the officers are able to arrest him for conspiracy to commit theft  he's got five pills oh yeah Metro rocks and um several bits of powder we're waiting to get the  final amount see if it's felony or not also his name and I'll do links and okay uh 75207 was the  total taxes how much before taxes 75207 still felony there we go finally catching my breath the primary suspect was charged with  felony shoplifting and felony conspiracy to commit shoplifting along with resisting evading or  obstructing an officer trafficking in controlled substances and possession of Controlled Substances  the next case however doesn't involve charges for a different reason hi ma'am do you have stuff  in your coat right now no no okay employees said they saw you stuff stuff from your basket  into your jacket no I just went I just put all my stuff back because I was supposed to be my  um other half here and he never showed up I just tried calling him actually okay so if we  search your jacket we're not going to find any items I'll give you an opportunity right now to  take everything out but it's going to be your one and only opportunity if you take everything out  right now we want press charges I think that's a fair deal okay fine I have a hat all right there  we go in early December of 2020 officer Connor jeling responded to a Walgreens for a report  of a shoplifting their loss prevention team had noticed a woman stuffing several items into her  coat and had called for police backup to handle it your ID I don't have an ID okay then might  just need your information for Jamie j a m i e yep M Escape s c a f e SCA Fe Fe do  you have an address that you stay at no okay are you working anywhere Jamie  no it's just cold outside I don't have any money and it's one hat I get it  but you can't be stealing it okay in the comments of this raw footage  there is a lot of compassion for jimie she wasn't stealing booze drugs jewelry  or anything like that she was stealing a hat and gloves because she was homeless  and it was incredibly cold outside most people didn't feel very negatively towards  her because of that do you have anything else on you just that and gloves and  you don't have any gloves or hats or anything okay for you copy the Lost prevention officer already told  her that she wasn't going to press charges but she was issued a no trespass order this means that  Jamie is not allowed to come onto the property of Walgreens or she will be arrested for trespassing  stores don't need a reason to ban someone from their premises but they usually only do it for  situations like this because they don't want to lose money um yeah come have trespass so you can  use the drive-thru but you can't use this okay you don't have had gloves I'll buy these for her thank  you but don't don't do this okay I know it's tough but there's other ways call us for help all right  but if you come back in here you're going to get arrested officer jeling was very widely applauded  for this act of kindness and rightfully so as mentioned previously there wasn't a lot of ill  will for Jamie even though she was sh uplifting because times are tough for everyone right now  people know what it's like to not be able to afford the clothes on your back the hat and gloves  probably totaled up to a couple of dollars for the officer and they would ensure that this woman was  more comfortable in the brutal Winters without a home thank you so much again it's cold  but 947 ain't worth you know especially like if you're out on Bond and stuff less  than $10 to ensure someone doesn't freeze it's a painful world when people  have to steal for such a small amount ears are C an excuse but I get  it but you know call us for help we have resources we can help you out with you know  every contact with us doesn't to be a bad thing all right all right Jamie don't come  back okay Jamie as mentioned wasn't arrested or charged with anything and just received  a no trespass order as far as we know she's obeyed that order and hasn't Tred to go  back to that specific Walgreens since this incident it just shows what a little  compassion can do for someone in need even so not all shoplifting stories are so nice  and this next one is more likely to make you angry than all tingly inside sorry I'm a  nervous FR I never thought this would happen yeah of course what's your phone number excuse  me 917 on June 26 2021 a call was made to the Castleberry Florida Police Department by an  employer who wanted to report her employee for theft when officers arrived they noticed  the employer sitting on the ground she stated that she had conducted a reverse sting operation  intentionally leaving money in the cash register to see if it would go missing later that day she  discovered the bills knowingly marked with the letter j had gone missing just as she expected  they would hello hey how you doing C Police Department yeah reason why I'm here today is  because we got a call in reference to some I was wondered if we could talk to you for a second  yeah of course so first question is can you guess why we're here um I was accused of stealing money  at a party that was it this girl steals money so often that she doesn't know which instance of  theft these officers are here to talk to her about all I was doing was trying for a tampon I  thought I started my period And I had moved this girl's bag I only paid her back cuz I didn't  want anything to happen I didn't want it to be put on me because I'm not that kind of person and  the way she was talking to me like it felt like it was going to be who was the Sheep was it your  manager or no it was um a girl at the party that I guess she had messaged me and she said like I saw  you the one doing that okay um what's this what's this young lady's name I I didn't get to know  her um I have it on my phone I can show it to you okay um I think it started with an A but she  said like either way I'm going to like put legal okay where was this party it was at um like news  Event Center in Lake Mary Lake Mary okay well we appreciate it but that's not necessarily why we're  here today we're here because you're being accused of theft however the theft is not in regards to  that part it's in regards to something that's happened here today okay so you have a manager um  who advised us that so not manager you have one of your other co-workers that they left a certain  amount of dollars very identifying marks on that and you were the only person in the store okay  so she also has the receipts of the opening of when the drawer was open what exact time okay  where we're at right now is uh I can't I can't promise you anything but for me and I'm sure also  for same thing honesty is the best poliy in many instances officers are just saying this kind of  thing to make their day easier in this situation however it's very likely true that Honesty will  be the best policy if she cooperates it'll make things easier for everyone and of course there's  the chance that the manager chooses not to press charges if she draws this out despite all the  evidence against her she very likely won't get any Goodwill from anyone so could you tell us  anything about that I did do it I'm having some issues with money right now um I just like bought  off a new car so I haven't been working lately um I will to that so was it just today or has it  been in the past it was today and then I've done it in the past before but never like large  amounts how much did you probably like that's you to the bag 300 maybe was the around $25,000 that had been stolen all so this girl could buy a new car and several  Gucci purses she claimed that she was having money troubles but all of the purchases that  she made with the stolen money seemed to be very extraneous and unnecessary okay it's it's  well over what she has here I was hoping she would show it all what you took this morning and  you didn't so no I that's makeing not contentious well I would and where was the other where was  the other I I told him it was in that back pock pocket of my bag like which which one the one  with the zipper right here yeah she cut your hours or something is that a reason  why you did it to me I feel like it's cuz I wasn't doing anything right so kind of sucked but okay so  I'm like go to jail MH because of the um when she first called us she made she gave us a number and  you would have gotten a notice to here because you would you could have got that's yeah that's our  supervisor man you can just look at all of it you can have it um and that 22,000 doesn't calculate I  I actually came in because I was planning on just interviewing her right she was not originally who  I thought it was going to be I was very shocked I got it down to just I rolled out everybody but her  and another girl and I actually just thought was the other girl to be honest I'm not going to lie  to you but now looking at all this evidence and the time clocks when she was here it all lines up  makes sense do you recollect any of those things how much do you think you've taken  over the years it's just this year by the way just this year it's just this year how I didn't keep track I mean you got  to have a ballpark in excess of of, how much was your purse how much your car how much you I want to hear what  you that was the most at a time or she's missing $22,000 yes so if you don't think you took that  much you got to have a ballpark of how much you do think you I have documentation  here to show I know head north pick this up send you a picture of when she's done  that way gives her time to all right cool what side am I going um try to keep you  away from you know the general public so the girl was arrested and charged with  theft and was eventually given one year of probation she was also ordered to  pay back all $225,000 that she stole from the business if you thought this  girl was bold the next one will knock your socks off I don't want to get arrested  seee well you shouldn't have shoplift it then please you know what I mean I don't want  to get arrested I have to go to work today please so what happened z uh started washing  because of the merchandise and the amount of merchandise she has in that cart which is the  stuff outside the door um she selected the cat stuff groceries stuff and bakery um walked over  to the produce wall there by the grocery door and then turned and went out the grocery door  and I spped her out on the sidewalk perfect you going to type everything for me yes sir please she  getting trespass forever yes that's goodr me I was going to say that's a good idea stay seated Nicole  don't be standing up please don't harest me please this officer has met Nicole before on May 27th  2023 Pullman Police Officer padra responded to a shoplifting call at Walmart he seemed to already  know the alleged shoplifter by first name she was accused of stealing $800 worth of merchandise  including a $140 kitty litter box and $40 sticks all right what do we got here please please  sir I'll be the witness I have at work I have to go to work today please no he promised me there  was no cops involved I said if you did not come with me I would have to call the cops Nicole  this is a notification of restriction property this means you're trespassed from all Walmarts in  United States you can never come back to Walmart this is a lifetime trespass if you come back on  the property including the parking lot it's a misdemeanor if you seal with this effect it's an  automatic felony I need you to so what's going to happen this means you can never come back to  any Walmart in the United States okay so it's a witness no's he's signing as the witness that you  have been notified of this I need you to print and sign what's going to happen this means you can  never come back to Walmart she keeps bringing up the fact that she needs to go to work if she  needed to litter box also isn't a necessity because a plastic tub can be turned into a temporary  one while she saves up money none of this stuff seems to be stuff that she needs mhm what you went  with RI ribeye we needed something to eat M like a suro wouldn't be good like you just were like I'm  stealing doesn't I finally grabbed something like the most expensive one I didn't know it was that  expensive cuz you were going to steal it I didn't know it was that expensive I didn't look at the  prices yeah some more cookies I was we were hungry my boyfriend has to have sweets he's diabetic okay  see what else we got Twinkie I mean a lot of sweet cat tree my cats needed it cuz they keep clawing  at the walls I don't want to get charged with damage to the trailer yeah I mean it's easier move no she's still living up there too mhm you're 18 right 19 19 there is a lot of  support for this officer's comedic approach in the comments of this footage because not too many  officers actually read through the entire list of shoplifted items in order to make the person  squirm because she stole so many extraneous unnecessary items people don't have a lot of  sympathy for Nicole $140 scoop free what is that is that the litter box automatic litter box  yes an automatic litter box like a regular one wouldn't have worked I couldn't find one you  couldn't find a regular one you just got the most expensive litter box yeah what do you want  done what do you want done you want to you want to forward get the hell off your property or you  want me to to take her to holding and fingerprint her it's up to you I think she needs to go to  holding please no please I really got to go to work please sir please sir please I want to come  back again this done tonight please um most likely it I started watching her over in uh pets um she  was moving stuff around in that cart she had some high dollar pet stuff in there she picked up  the uh scoopfree pet thing and put it in there sir um some kitty litter went over to grocery picked  up some cereal um went over to Bakery um or went through Meats got the steaks went through Bakery  got all the sweets and stuff and then she went into produce and grabbed the sandwich there  off the deli bunker thing the owner is well within their rights to ask for charges to be filed  especially considering the amount of stuff that she tried to steal and the dollar value of it all  and that's not even mentioning the fact that this is evidently the second second time in a very  short period that she was caught shoplifting if anyone could use a lesson Nicole definitely could  stand up please there's no please stop can I call my mom stand up please my mom's going to come  get me you can call her when we're there then you are under arrest for theft second degree what  please sir don't do this please Nicole first of all let's get this right I didn't do nothing you  did it can my mom bail me out uh I don't know you know what I'm going to she's  asking for she's allowed to make a phone call once they make it to the station but until then  the officer has every right to make sure she can't contact anybody sir well this would be a good  lesson maybe he will learn not to send you to Walmart to steal but I if I tell you something  you said if I didn't go steal it he was going to kill me if I came back empty-handed uhuh go  and have SE audio Vis recorded by the in car camera located directly in front  of you thank you even if what she's saying is true there's nothing the officer can do about  it now she still committed the crime and is still going to be arrested for it if something  comes out about the boyfriend during that time a separate investigation will happen I have  a right to make a phone call well I actually read you my rights I have a right to make a  phone call though your frame stand and face that wall so I'll be able to go to work  tomorrow then unless something else pops up okay brown chair over there there's a white  pillar next to it stand and face that for me face this white pillar perfect stay there okay  Nicole when I take this uh handcuff off just put your hand on that pillar okay have a seat in that  brown chair remove your shoes any piercings or a belt if you have one and a belt if you have one  not an ore Nicole is now going through the intake process where she's going to be booked and put  into holding for the next several hours eventually Bond will be decided along with the final charges  and she'll be moved out of the holding cell hello I'm officer p with the p Police Department who are sugary foods to yeah keep myself normal keep yourself normal this isn't necessarily a red flag  getting a diagnosis in America is very expensive and these kids don't look like they've got a lot  of it concern you at all that she accused you of saying no is normal to you doesn't  bother you no doesn't bother you that she told me that you said that you were going to kill her if  you didn't come far he does show a bit of compassion  here which is nice to see a lot of people have said that he shows something akin to tough love  which is accurate Nicole absolutely needed a reality check and Garrison probably does need a  bit of help Nicole was released from custody after about 6 hours she subsequently pled guilty and was  sentenced to 10 days in jail however instead of serving jail time she was allowed to complete 80  hours of community service she was also required to pay a fine of $43 these are kids so sure she  got off a bit easy the same cannot be said about this next case stop [ __ ] run I'mma Tas you  stop get on theing ground get on the ground mother stand up sorry this man is Hoy Inman  and officers had just received a report of him and another man and woman possibly  shoplifting at Walmart the officer had already spoken to and detained the  female shoplifter when Inman walked out through the front doors and pretty  quickly took off running stop right here 7863 it seems that Inman was the main  person shoplifting and the others were much more minor in their actions even so  evidently another officer is on another Chase according to what we hear from the radio  running from the police is a Surefire way to turn a simple shoplifting charge into  something much more permanent than that Walmart well I tell you what Mr rman you're  under arrest for resisting obstru and evading an officer I was right there and you  decided to run what do you think I'm going to stop [ __ ] IDI I don't know  really I'm sorry what's your date of birth giving me correct information don't  pick up another charge with me [ __ ] up yes I'll crack a window right now all right  do you have it everybody or the other guy all in black took off running right he took off  but I just found out that well this guy was the main one at first cuz he had those packages  right there the female that's inside walked out with a merchandise that we thought she had  paid for now found incidents everyone involved will receive a no trespass order from the store  meaning that they aren't allowed back onto the premises without being arrested Inman  had already been trespassed from Walmart meaning that he could be charged with  trespassing along with everything else either way shoplifting is being cracked down  on more and more these days with the big stores taking a solid St against it it's very likely  we'll see more videos like this in the future
