Here's my chiptune cover of this 10-year-old VOCALOID classic. Made with 0CC-Famitracker, using the Namco 163 chip for additional audio (I only used 5 out of the 8 extra channels, though). What mainly enticed me to create this cover was Neru's phone beeps at the beginning of the song, since I imagined its waveform would be simple enough to recreate, and I was right. Speaking of which, all the waveforms I used for this cover were borrowed from existing games, save for the bass and the phone beep, which were entirely drawn on my own. And speaking of waveforms, the DPCM orchestra hit samples were taken from the Edirol SD-20. Half-way during the creation of this cover of mine, I noticed that there was already an 8-bit cover of this song floating around, done by Kurofox4444, which uses the Konami VRC6. While it was nicely done, I personally felt certain aspects of it didn't have enough pizzazz, such as some inaccurate notes and a very faint percussion. So, with Kuro's cover in mind, I kept experimenting to make something much more improved. Anata no kororo wo bakyunkyun~
