Break The Record is a speedrunning competition which places the best runners in a race to break the standing speedrun world record. Its Dark Souls edition was sure to bring a lot of hype, but no one could have predicted that several world records would make history in a moment which the speedrunning world might never see again. With a lot of cash ($5,000) on the line, the qualified runners were getting ready to show their best performance yet. This video maps the story of this event, explains its importance and relives the amazing moment which made speedrunning history.
