What happens when a whale starts over with a $0 budget? I played through my first 11 days in Sword x Staff completely free to play, following my own preseason guide and preparing for Season One: Aqualis. In this video, I walk through the gameplay and explain my decisions along the way. What I saved, what I spent, why I sold gear and shards, and how I kept progressing while putting resources aside for Season One. By the end, I’d earned over 22,000 Dawnium in total and saved around 1,100 Material Realm resources for Aqualis. This is how I chose to play my F2P account. It isn’t the only way to play, and spending players may have different priorities.
