A key highlight is a leather treated to resemble denim, achieved through embossing and discharge-dyeing by Japanese artisans, creating a fabric that retains the identity of leather while visually echoing denim. In a parallel gesture, a herringbone surface is constructed by embroidering warm yarns onto an industrial nylon base, producing a tension between seasonal codes and material reality. Further hybridization appears in knitwear, where cupro, kid mohair, and flocked finishes are combined to merge contrasting tactile qualities such as softness, structure, and drape. These experiments extend Oppenheim’s Surrealist logic into textile form, positioning contradiction as a creative tool rather than a flaw.
