I just wanted to practice animating a hug. But I guess ended up with a fully animated 30-sec short. Anyways, this is definitely my last one before the season 2 airs. My wish is that you can find comfort in this animation because Alastor is definitely going to go through some things in the 2nd season. So just come watch this if you feel distressed later on. Haha. For the visuals, the silent film vibe with the dialogue title cards didn't come until later on. I actually did record my voice for the dialogue, but I hated how it sounded. I think this is an okay alternative. xD The story idea I had is maybe this is when Alastor gets overwhelmed with his emotions and he cannot keep up his upbeat persona anymore. Another idea is that maybe he learned something about my OC, Celia or Marcella, that he felt tremendous guilt about. I don't know, but I hope this animation can make you guys feel better.
