The snapping turtle is one of the most prehistoric-looking predators on the planet and is an animal that has fascinated Coyote Peterson since his childhood. This fascination has inspired and fueled his life of animal adventures and this year he will bring you a new series titled Dragon Tails, which will follow Coyote into several swamp and wetland habitats as he searches for enormous Common and Alligator Snapping Turtles. These "dragons of the mud" are cloaked in a murky blanket of folklore myth…our goal is to clear away the murk and put you face to face with these incredible reptiles as you have never seen them before! Special thanks to Johan Soderqvist for allowing us to use the track “Alone” from his beautiful score to the film King of Devils Island, its cold and empty tone radiates winter's icy clutches which temporarily hold these creatures in hibernation...the Dragons will soon be waking, and Spring… IS COMING! Dragon Tails follows adventurer and animal enthusiast Coyote Peterson and his crew as they explore the folklore and legends of America’s swamplands and encounter some of the largest freshwater turtles known to man!
