incomers into the scene it's of course Rotty and on the other side the man who regularly struggles against set newcomers it is harom triple Evo this is a classic it is but it could also be like a decent response against somebody who's made a lot of links then again why are we on two two bases defending against three bases that is an interesting spot to morph baning right in front of this P this is wings of Liberty mate like what am I watching over here what is this T against red an aggressive morph he doesn't have link speed either he wanted to play roach accidentally build a bailing Nest okay we didn't have to lose links there but we did end up losing a bunch of Lings there even though we had a queen in a spine I'm going to go on Li here and say it's not yeah I think I'll back up that statement quite a bit of energy of the queen as well other Queen also had a lot of energy don't think there was enough time to quite transfuse that spine though these roaches getting caught in the middle now a transfuse wouldn't hurt but I guess we're not getting it is he building a second bailing nest what about the fog of war from the map do we have a hidden base is this a hidden base kind of game cuz look at that money why would we be floating six 1600 minerals I technically possible but I think a bit unlikely I just think the macro is lacking a little doesn't have any gas though mineral fi like no gas at all mhm two two upgrades it's pretty crazy how good carpas upgrades are against mutas as well especially if they burrow with the tunneling claws you really can't kill them I mean now you do get a couple of roach kills surely the blue Zerg is winning this yeah it' be a miracle if the red one somehow wins it those roaches look slow as well but maybe that's just me maybe it's too early no I I think I think they were slow oh no spores and two baneling n yeah so this is a bit out of my comfort zone cuz I see a lot of games and I also see lower ranked games but I don't see games like this so I'm glad that you're going to guess first here cuz I have the feeling that you have slightly more experience with watching games like this than I do but it's it's not that high up there that's for sure yeah yeah it's okay so I just always like to make a mental recap of what happened in the game just so we don't forget anything so it started with the zerlings morphing in front of the spine lots of energy all around triple Evo wall bailing Nest already in the back but also a roach War so he's playing two base roach with a bailing nest and with a bad wall but and a spine yeah and a spine that wasn't protected at all as well no no proper Queen Wall then it follows up with a second bailing Nest dying to mutas way too many minerals way too little gas mm which is difficult if you're playing Mass roaches by the way like how do you float minerals if you're playing roaches that doesn't make a lot of sense no people I guess double upgrades but I think it just didn't take his gases at all yeah it's probably the better explanation yeah I did um yeah this is a very tough one this is not going to be too high but I think I have a decent clue as to what it is so I I'm just kind of there is this part of me where I'm afraid that I'm going to go way load and what they are and then I'm going to be like man I can't stand that dude I always hated him as a Caster anyway it's like no it's not what I meant last time I was just like over guessing giving too many props but I think I know what I go for but I won't know what you guess right I just have to submit yeah you have to yeah you have to sneak it in yeah okay I have no idea it's hard but I've just gone for something that I think is maybe it all right I went for platinum one oo I went for gold to I think it's I think it's a little low but it is is definitely in the realm of possibilities a lot of the things were a little kind of out there but the game was somewhat aggressive it was zvz though and like Europe is pretty good like I've watched the decent amount of like diamond tree which should be close to Plat one right and some of those guys are actually like pretty damn good they're microing they're spending their money they're keep keeping it low so yeah I don't know yeah I just spin the wheel see who's right I think one of the things often that I forget is that with aggression the games they they look worse so we are you went diamond you went diamond 3 I I went plat one but Diamond 3 is pretty close oh yeah damn rough start I need a rough start C it's okay we can make it up in the match we know a lot more about anyway this this looks oh this looks good until that I don't think it's ever worth the canel what uhoh I mean that happens to the best of us yeah no why would you cancel why would you cancel it I am very confused as to what is going on here I mean these guys are clearly kind of good but they're also not super good because we've already seen three or four questionable things but they're clearly kind of good yeah yeah also the positioning there of the Adept like in between the mineral PES yeah that's that's nice that's real nice targeting probes moving as well and a lot of other things don't feel so good mecro is on point though look at that 4 yeah mhm eight minutes in and we're building also the right units right zos with charge we're building Immortals a couple of linky boys dark R coming on the way we are floating like a little bit more than we should nice warper is in positioning DT is going to run away from the cannon this looks good this this is good stuff this really is good stuff even picks it up properly in like a smooth motion I hope he drops the DTs oh yeah he tried to nice snip yeah the snipe was good but the fact that he tried dropping the DTs that that gets some credits as well nice voice [Laughter] field it's like when you get scared and you [ __ ] yourself does seem like they're floating a crazy amount at this point so I wouldn't say like that it's GM I'm going to yeah like they're clearly kind of good they're definitely a bit better than the guys in the previous uh game but they're also struggling at this point so maybe early game PVP is just a bit easier than early game zvz yeah yeah n this is this is significantly higher level though like significantly higher level like he's picking up he's look at this this is micro recalling as this is actually good that is probably the exact same thing I would have done in that in that situation a recall plus a pick up of the remaining units that was really nice he also had a super high Gateway count which is I think something you don't see so much at lower levels people they usually just get an amount of gateways and then they stop thinking about their infrastructure all together so this felt so much better although they were floating quite a bit of money and there were some stinkers in there I I this was this was significantly better I think yeah yeah no that I'm in agreement with I'm just like trying to uh keep it balanced I have a good I have a good idea but obviously like you get bonus points if you nail it right and it can be a little bit tricky among like the top four divisions that are out there one of them is going to be tiny too what' you get I went for master 3 same Masters 3 as well yeah this these were some clean Masters 3 moves like I think the early game like the cancels and stuff like that these are like we shouldn't pay too much attention to that I think the rest of the game was so good that I I think people might get tricked by that they look at it think to themselves ah this is this is like diamond I never canceled my first three bills like no but you also don't spend your money that well and I think that's what really matters there yeah know and also just overall game sense right both the right units early on expanding in a way that it makes sense they were getting double forged and and they were willing to transition into the disruptors if you're not comfortable with the game you're not going to go disrupt this cuz it's a scary unit to use if you're not that good so I I think Master 3 is pretty close but it can also be like two maybe even one cuz that division can get big uh but yeah I I assume that we're going to be very close here yeah I think the spin it hamster see what we [Music] got wow that actually does kind of surprise me we were kind of close yeah maybe this is still I think on average a good guess like you know getting three points for a guess is not bad but I really felt like we were we were on the money there the fact that boths at Masters 3 our explanations were good may maybe in master they' be a bit more deadly and then they don't cancel that shade and then they do get in and they find more early micro was not bad though on those two put it in between the Pates mhm I don't know but if you but obviously dealing damage earlier is better and maybe they lack a little bit of that killer in yeah it's true it's true but I mean overall it's fair I don't think it was a terrible guess I think we did all right fine let's see if this is upper three's level I don't think any of these cannons are in range of the [Music] depot this [Laughter] is he's containing him I I also like how we're building the CC on location rather than just building it in the main and poti fling it over Maximum risk even if just the probe shows up there to harass it he would have lost it money is still kind of low so even though obviously the execution of the cannon Rush may not be great I'm surprised that the both doing a decent job in spending their money especially with the tan having an expense as well did you see the fusion core no there's a fusion core and there's a second starport that just finished mineral fielded so his defense to the one base proxy void race double starport BCS I don't think this is the correct theoretical response maybe it's just full of confidence that he was going to hold after he had the the tanks out because there are Cannon rushes out there that will say that the tanks are the most problematic unit when you Canon rush you don't worry about Marines Vikings you worry about the tank so maybe he thought he's safe for now and he's going to have some fun wait how does he have one gas what this is one of the wildest void r r I've seen in my life research complete he just's crawling with the Cannons there's no way that to should win this oh there's just two random VCS as well there is no way but I've also seen people then suddenly lose everything they have to the Cannons and the batteries and and there is a way that the protos wins it but obviously I would agree with you normally especially because zero army supply at this point Aros yeah oh ah that's where he was at couple of phoenixes also not the ideal counter to usually as a man who has built a lot of Phoenix in his life and ran into uthermal every now and then I can guarantee you that the Phoenix Is Not Great against the battle cruising this is a tricky one this really is a tricky one cuz it was a cannon rush I feel like you're going to get some people with it but the execution not a fan of it single gas in the main lots of cannons slow void rate production the defense was a little bit the decision making not a huge fan of like it's completely possible that the execution against the void Ray push is is not correct but I think the the theory part here was so far off the mark and I think that might just be an issue but then again maybe this is the first time he ever plays against the cannon Rush mhm obiously they did do some things correctly so they're not like brand brand Neil no I don't know but it looked far from great it's hard but I think I know what I want to go for I think I know too do I go one or three uh I'm going to be I'm going to try to be mean cuz I think last time I was way too nice now I'm going to try to be a bit more mean okay I went for gold to I went for gold three ah very nice but I was thinking between one or three and I was like I think I'm giving too many props so I went for gold three yeah yeah I think this this F this felt like a proper gold game as well I'm I'm very happy with these guesses let's just spin the wheel see who's right I feel confident I want to know what it feels like to Neil one by the way oh no I'm judgment a little bit and yeah it's nice this is nice I'm happy with is yeah there were a couple of things where I'm like it looks kind of good and even just being able to keep your money low and expend while having to deal with cannons in your face and void race like that kind of stuff is not easy right it's very uh common for people then to completely lose track of what they're doing and all of a sudden everything looks terrible there were some things good but then you also saw a couple of questionable moments like Marines running into 17 batteries and three cannons like that's not going to be good and obviously the double starport VC is not a very Norm normal response there and the Phoenix is in the bottom left side I'm like we could have build anything and we went for the Phoenix I was like you know if you do that a few more times you know that the Phoenix is not going to bring you back there yeah fun game nice very sick ooh sport on the way roaches already come out this is really early 5 minutes we're building roaches but we can't possibly do anything with them on this map so yeah yeah double roach one see I another a huge fan of the spores this is someone that has watched pro games saw that the spores were blocking the mining in the mineral lines so I was like I can do this better then ends up losing 20 drones to every single air unit he what's happening with the work account here it's so low for a 6 and a half minute game yeah not fan scans okay right next to this but yeah that's going to take a while mate so you're telling me there's a chance yes there is a chance that you'll break through but that's going to take a little while this is a a tough one I would say that this is worse than the zvz we saw really oo that's what I'm thinking this was Europe right yeah it's Europe I feel like this looked okay I guess he's not macroing a whole lot he's building two CC's at the same time we have brute L at 12 12 minutes and he's maxed there's no up also rat who said though right so if there's nothing happening then all of a sudden you've got like a minute or two these guys at least do like just spend their money do whatever they can look at the upgrades it's 111 and 0 for the Zer so basically his idea is an old school brute Lord rush you know it's like when he's streaming and someone's like streamer can you do a a brute Lord Rush he's like well it's not really a thing but I can try oh those blinding clouds oh see he got five vipers 15 corruptors and two brutes he's so afraid of the Viking man look at the tanks by the way killing all the the bio yeah this is the this is the slowest death I've seen in my life he could just walk back at any point like two brutes I also love how he was very happy that he took out the Dey but he's like man those minerals they're still there like yeah yeah he's talking about I brought an SCV there was one SCV but that was not enough it's a tough one why isn't this idiotic Zer mind out the minerals yet yeah I wonder why it is rough I do agree with you though it felt a little bit worse than that cvz yeah cuz in the cvz there was action and here I feel like there was very little action very little worker production yeah that cvz ended up being plat three or was it diamond oh yeah it was Diamond Three diamond three yeah I mean brood Lord at 12 minutes is impressive that but then again he had nothing only two brutes but he did use vipers I feel like I don't think I've ever seen vipers being used in a lower level game in my life and he actually well he he blinding Cloud at the same spot maybe too many times but he hit right on the money he got all of it they were all yeah if he hadn't moved out of that that blinding Cloud well that would have been that would have been something um yeah I now I I I got it I send it in I went for a plat two very nice I went for plat one okay yeah same guess that I had on the zvz back then I was too low but now I feel like right on the money this yeah I mean it has to be in Platinum somewhere right yeah it feels like it's in between what we've just seen so far yeah yeah obviously the pvt being the outlier because or the PVP cuz those guys look pretty good but yeah this has to be somewhere in between [Music] okay I think that's not good for me you were you were plat one yeah I was plat one okay I'm plat two so I still got something right cuz I'm within two leagues or not yeah it's not bad it's not it's not a bad score I think you did well hamster please tell us how have we done Mr harom actually beating rotti by just one point because Ry is joining the big tie with 12 points so I just had to check the tiebreaker and sadly Grand wins the tiebreaker and you are not in the playoffs you missed it by one point if I would have gone plat three I would have had it damn it yes actually and harom with 11 points ah very respectable woo I'm happy nice but C not in the playoffs I think last time you had 26 points 24 22 that wasn't me that wasn't me mate like that that was a guy that look like me but it was me I this this has to be the biggest Improvement we we've ever had seen in just the span of a single season that that counts for something that was a good performance we I don't want to make too many excuses but I don't know if you have this too but some days you just wake up and your brain doesn't work and that day that we recorded that rank rouette video there was a something off with me I don't know if I had a lack of coffee or a lack of water but I just didn't feel that well and it showed like I know it sounds like I'm making excuses but I really do remember feeling like oh man I'm not very smart today like today I feel dumb I was dumb in the video this morning I felt better you know I went to bed early I didn't even watch the second NFL game I was like I want to peek and well we didn't quite peek but I think overall this was a very respectable performance and I can keep my head up high yeah this is this a good line of progress next season you'll be there I can feel it all right thank you so much for your time and uh well done man GG's despite Ram's Stellar performance he sadly did not break into the top fours the top four still consist of winter mechanic upper tree and Grand this micro is not so great that bunker also was kind of useless it is a three Rex Reaper that's the one thing I do know with a CC on the way I mean we are microing the units but the mecro behind this is extremely mediocre out of both players
