Superman (2025), directed and written by James Gunn, has finally hit theaters worldwide as the first theatrical release of the new DCU. DC as a brand has faced a rough few years, largely due to the missteps of the previous regime at Warner Bros. Including the failures of the DCEU and the later years of the CW Arrowverse.
