Apparently, you get Steve'n'Seagulls! Steve'n'Seagulls are from Finland and became internationally known for transforming legendary rock and metal songs into their own bluegrass, country, folk, and acoustic style. Their version of “The Trooper” is a perfect example of why this band is so much fun to discover. Instead of simply copying the original, they take the unmistakable energy of Iron Maiden and rebuild it around their own instrumentation and personality. The original “The Trooper” is one of Iron Maiden's signature songs, powered by galloping rhythms, twin-guitar melodies, and Bruce Dickinson's unmistakable vocals. Hearing those ideas translated into a completely different musical style makes this one especially interesting for us as a reaction. In this reaction we're paying attention to the musicianship, vocals, banjo and mandolin work, rhythm, arrangement, chemistry between the musicians, and how much of that classic Iron Maiden energy survives when heavy metal gets transformed into bluegrass! If you love unusual cover songs, bluegrass versions of rock songs, Iron Maiden reactions, classic heavy metal, folk rock, country covers, or insanely talented musicians putting their own spin on legendary music, this is one you don't want to miss. 🔥 Did Steve'n'Seagulls pull off “The Trooper”? 🔥 Do you prefer the original Iron Maiden version or do you love hearing completely different interpretations like this? 🔥 What Steve'n'Seagulls cover should THE WOLF HUNTERZ react to next? We've already got our eyes on more of their crazy rock and metal transformations, so drop your favorites in the comments! 🎸 STEVE'N'SEAGULLS ON TOUR – 2026/2027 Steve'n'Seagulls are actively touring, with upcoming dates across Finland and Europe.
