Diminishing returns is a hidden mechanic in Deadlock that is affecting your builds in a negative way! When you stack multiple sources of specific stats like damage reduction and life steal, they diminish against each other and become less effective. This prevents you from getting more than 100% of some stats that would be unhealthy, and it encourages you to diversify and level up multiple stats rather than just the same one over and over again!
