Currently Playing: Nadja Leonhard-Hooper & Jake Brasch Wrote A Musical About Plugging Holes | WHGS 347

This episode is hole-y, listener! Jake Brasch & Nadja Leonhard-Hooper (American Sing-Song) are the multi-hyphenate duo behind the new, hilarious musical HOLE! We discuss the show and its origins, Kafka’s girlfriend, our favorite psych meds, evangelicals, and the eroticism of centaurs. The Brazilian MILF (now GILF!) returns, and everyone gets to watch the exact moment that Ash experiences what Lizzy calls “a comic’s worst nightmare,” on stage. Afterwards, we get into the complicated subject of including real people in your art, and discuss the absurdities of having baby fever as a queer person. PS: Apologies for the audio issues that occur around the GILF video, we had some technical difficulties and had to use the camera mics for that section.
