Currently Playing: Why JEE Physics Feels Impossible (And How to Fix It) ⚡ | Invisible Mechanics

Physics doesn't feel impossible because you're not smart enough. It feels impossible because no one ever taught you *how to think through a hard problem* — where to start, what to write first, and how to turn a scary diagram into something you can actually solve. In this video, I take one genuinely brutal JEE mechanics problem and break it down piece by piece until the whole thing feels obvious. If you've ever stared at a problem for an hour and gotten nowhere, this is the exact thought process that fixes it. The problem: a cylinder rests in the gap between a block and a step — everything frictionless, both the block and cylinder of mass m. We find the normal force between the cylinder and the step, and then answer the real twist: does the cylinder separate from the block first, or from the step? It looks like a standard Class 11 setup. It is not. By the end, you'll understand: - How to pull a constraint relation straight out of the geometry - How to set up Newton's laws for a system of connected bodies - Why the normal force keeps changing as the system moves - How to find the exact instant of separation (when N drops to zero) - The general problem-solving mindset that works on ANY hard mechanics problem — not just this one WHO THIS IS FOR JEE 2026 & 2027 aspirants, droppers, and Class 11 / 12 students who want to stop memorizing and start actually solving. If you're targeting JEE Advanced, this is the level of mechanics you need to be comfortable with. 🎯 FREE JEE MECHANICS MASTERCLASS — July 6th I'm running a free live masterclass where I teach this problem-solving approach in depth.
