There are those that believe that the rank of someone in the Melchizedek Priesthood corresponds to their ability to heal someone. For example I know someone who's daughter was extremely ill and the mother wanted her to have a blessing but didn't want it from the husband, or bishop, or stake president, but requested it from a member of the quorum of the 12 because she wanted the best change for her daughter to be healed. This video discusses if priesthood "rank", responsibility or calling has anything to do with healing power.
