So when we were in Japan a few months ago (yes, closer to a year ago now), we decided we had to try and fulfill some of my train content fantasies - and ride on one of the overnight trains I've had my eye on for so long. But, not only were we lucky enough to snag tickets to the viral West Express Ginga train, we also won the lottery (?!) of people who entered to get tickets to the super luxury Seven Stars train.
