Pandora: The World of Avatar is… amazing. It’s not just a land that’s incredibly well-themed, but aims to really impress and “wow” its audience through atmosphere. I know that I’ve offered quite a bit of criticism of the leadership of Bob Iger and Bob Chapek, ultimately concluding that their additions to the parks have been at best, mediocre. At worst, insulting. I’ve seen a lot of people criticize Flight of Passage as a Soarin’ clone, but I don’t agree. There’s also the consensus that Na'vi River Journey might leave you feeling a bit… unsatisfied. I would agree, but it’s not for a lack of effort. So today, we’re going to be breaking down what I feel is easily the best addition to the Disney parks over the last few decades, and why it works when so many other Disney additions have not.
