The instrumental was done by October of... 2017. Lyrics were done soon after that. Mix was done by March-ish 2019 and here it is, two years later. tl;dr I'm a mess. But I'm so happy with the lyrics, the mix, and the instrumental. Yorushika's debut song's probably not as catchy as Say it. but it still reigns as one of my most favourite songs from their first EP, besides Clouds and Ghosts. Ngl, aside from Glens (https://twitter.com/gurenzu) I'm a pretty avid Yorushika fan. Like, the only album i've been looping for the last few months is That's Why I Gave Up on Music -- not even Android Girl or ZUTOMAYO's new EP. I love them so so much and I'm very happy I get to cover this. There are a lot of memories tied up with this song, including a broken friendship that may never recover in the near future.
