My journey reading and researching a diary from Brooklyn, New York, 1917. Anglesea, the diary writer, turned 18 years old during the year of the diary. Through her eyes, we see the experience of a young Brooklyn socialite on the cusp of adulthood, all while the United States is making its entrance into World War 1.
