Use my promo code ORIGINAL25 to get 25% off your first box when you subscribe. https://curiositybox.com/ChrisStaecker Cake Recipe: (America's Test Kitchen red velvet cake without the red) • 10 oz all purpose flour • 10.5 oz sugar • 1 1/2 t baking soda • 1 cup buttermilk • 1 t white vinegar • 1 t vanilla extract • 2 eggs • 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened 1. Heat over to 350. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans or one 9x13 pan. 2. Whisk flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt in medium bowl. 3. Whisk buttermilk, vinegar, vanilla, and eggs in another bowl. 4. In mixer, mix butter and sugar, then add 1/3 of flour mixture, then 1/2 of buttermilk mixture, then 1/3 of flour mixture, then 1/2 of buttermilk mixture, then remaining flour mixture. 5. Combine and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350. Frosting: • 1 cup butter (2 sticks) • 1 cup cream cheese (2 bricks) • 1 cup (or to taste) powdered sugar • 1 t vanilla extract 1.
