I don't care what the canon says or what people say, in my heart, "Mecha Sonic MKI", will always be "Silver Sonic" in my heart. But ahem, rant aside, I guess I decided to also include *SILVER SONIC* in the little "Sonic 3 with more robots" trilogy. Started with Metal Sonic in launch base, then *SILVER SONIC* as the Death Egg sub-boss, and then Metal Sonic again for the major boss. Which I have been on the grind for, and spoiler warning, there's a Hoshi motif 👀 For the sprite art, I made our buddy *SILVER SONIC* in the typical S3&K style, using the gorgeous dithering, and the weird orangey-red lighting that appears on the shadowed areas of badniks and bosses. Then, I added Mighty because why not lol. I made a post earlier making him and Ray in the Sonic 3 style, so I added him for like literally no legitimate reason. Robotnik is then a sprite from here: https://www.spriters-resource.com/custom_edited/sonicthehedgehogcustoms/asset/81442/ And a last note, this image is inspired by a S3 AIR mod right here: https://sonic3air.boards.net/thread/546/mecha-sonic-mk-custom-boss Tags #sonic #sega #segagenesis #sonicthehedgehog #segamegadrive #retrogaming #music #game #sonicthehedgehog2 #sonic2 #sonicthehedgehog3 #sonicandknuckles #videogamemusic #wii #ym2612 #chiptune #chiptunemusic #soniccd #segacd #metalsonic #sonic3air #sonicmods #pixelart #sonicmaniaplusmod #sonicmaniaplusmods #segasonic #sonicarchiecomics
