In this video, I went to Daytona International Speedway with two massive cases packed with nearly 300 feet of Hot Wheels track for one of the biggest diecast racing projects I have ever attempted. The goal was to create three different racing videos built around Sunoco diecast, NASCAR, and Daytona, including the Daytona Drop, a massive orange track running from high above the speedway down toward Victory Lane. This video documents the entire process from preparing the track at home to finally seeing everything come together at Daytona. Between building, filming, tearing everything back down, and figuring things out on the fly, this turned into one of the most ambitious projects I have ever worked on. Getting the chance to combine Hot Wheels racing, NASCAR, Daytona International Speedway, and a project with Sunoco was an incredible experience, and this video is the full behind-the-scenes look at how it all happened. From the original track preparations to the final race day at Daytona, there was a lot that went into pulling this off that never made it into the finished racing videos. Huge thanks to NASCAR for having me and allowing me to create something this ridiculous. Now I just have to figure out how I am going to top it... 🔗 Chapters: 0:00 Intro 0:34 Orange track connector process 5:04 Massive track unboxing 5:56 Track preparations 10:28 Preparing the track for Daytona 12:13 Arriving at Daytona 14:11 Daytona Shoot Day 1 15:53 Creating the Daytona Drop 18:52 Daytona Drop races 21:27 Episode 2 setup 23:16 Episode 2 takedown 24:36 Final Shoot Day 25:47 Episode 3 setup 29:00 Filming Episode 3 30:47 Episode 3 takedown 31:52 O'Reilly race shenanigans 32:38 Race Day 34:39 Cup pre-race 36:00 Cup race 37:41 Post-race ending 💬 DISCLAIMER: All content on this channel is created for adults and audiences of all ages.
